Et Danmark der står sammen - fokus på læring og inklusion
Ny regering har fokus på læring og inklusion i daginstitioner og skoler.
Som læringsspecialist og konsulent med Taler for mig selv PLUS

HØJERE KVALITET I DAGTILBUDDENE
Regeringen mener, at alle børn har ret til en god start på livet, hvor de har en tryg hverdag
og bliver set og anerkendt. For langt de fleste børn er dagtilbuddene rammen om en stor del
af børnelivet, og det er her grundstenen til en god skolegang lægges. Gode dagtilbud er
ligeledes en vigtig forudsætning for at bryde den sociale arv. Derfor er det af afgørende
betydning, at vores dagtilbud er af høj kvalitet.
Børn har brug for tryghed, udfordring, leg, samvær med voksne – ikke blot opsyn. Mange
forældre har gennem flere år oplevet, at kvaliteten af dagtilbuddene er blevet udhulet, så
der i dag er flere børn for hver voksen, og at pædagogerne i øvrigt anvender en større del af
deres tid på aktiviteter, der ikke er vendt mod børnene.
Regeringen ønsker derfor, at kvaliteten af dagtilbuddene øges, eksempelvis ved at der
stilles krav om minimumsnormeringer. Antallet af lukkedage bør begrænses. Regeringen vil
drøfte veje hertil med kommunerne.
EN BEDRE FOLKESKOLE, SÅ FLERE UNGE LÆRER MERE
Regeringen vil fremsætte forslag om en reform af folkeskolen. Folkeskolen skal være hele
Danmarks skole. Vi skal have en faglig stærk folkeskole, der har plads til og er attraktiv for
alle børn. En folkeskole, som skal sikre alle elever et højere fagligt udbytte af
undervisningen - uanset hvilke forudsætninger, det enkelte barn har for uddannelse.
En folkeskole, hvor færre elever modtager specialundervisning og flere inkluderes i den
almindelige undervisning med de nødvendige støtteforanstaltninger og faglige
udfordringer. En folkeskole, som kombinerer teoretisk viden og praktiske kundskaber og
motiverer til at lære mere. Og en folkeskole, der giver eleverne de bedste forudsætninger
for at blive aktive og kritiske medborgere.

Arbejdsbesparende for pædagoger
Udviklende for børnenes sprog, koncentration.

DPU har netop lavet en stor undersøgelse, som dokumenterer, at mindre børn bliver forsømt og dette kan modvirkes bla. ved at organisere hverdagen meget bedre for børnene.
Taler for mig selv PLUS viser vejen med sit børnevenlige koncept.
Softwaren er udviklet af Bob Black, UK og blev designet til børn med udviklingshandicap, primært Downs Syndrom. Og det har efterfølgende vist sig, at målgruppen er meget bred og også testet velegnet til de mindste børn i 2-9 års alderen. Softwaren indeholder tegn til tale videoklip.

Close institutions
Close the large institutions for people with development disabilities. It is Lene Elsig Dalgaard comment on the scandal on Strandvænget in Denmark.

Shutter institutions just as they have in New Zealand! And help our fellow citizens with development disabilities to learn to operate a computer so they can learn to communicate. Yes, in general, offer people with development disabilities own computer as a part of our fellow citizens with disabilities are offered automatically as an aid. And ask them! They are human beings first of all. It is my bid for a decent existence as an alternative to the miserable lives, we offer the vast majority of people with development disabilities in this country. On Inclusion Europe's annual congress "Europe in action" in May 2005, which was held in Prague with participants from all over Europe and from around the world, was the theme "Towards living in the society". There were several people with development disabilities into the rostrum and described the pathetic and degrading it is to spend his life in an institution. The optimum is to offer small homes as they do in New Zealand in the project LIFE unlimited.
In my point of you it is not just the institutions, but our entire society - politicians and the press and to some parents' associations - there are too tough.
Who - in the media - are asking people with development disabilities what they think?
A few years ago I attended a conference in Lisbon, Real Live Media supported by the European Commission about media portrayals of people with development disabilities.
There was also attended by some people with development disabilities from other European countries. The message from them was unequivocal: Ask ourselves instead of trying to talk to us by educators and caregivers.
So: Help to communicate - for example by offering software that supports the development of spoken language and literacy.
This invitation, I will repeat here. And then I also mention that Ulf, Udviklingshæmmedes Landsforbund, has a great President, Lisbeth Jensen, who has the answers and experience.

No protection against smoke
Children with learning disabilities are not protected by new Danish law about smoking when they are staying with foster families.
In a newspaper article in a local newspaper JP-Århus today, Tuesday 21.08.07 politicians from Ministry of Health say that the effort from foster families, although payed, where children with learning disabilities often stay seven days or more every month, is not regarded as work.
Therefore the foster families are allowed to smoke when they take care of children with learning disabilities in their homes.
The new law was introduced recently and main purpose of the law is to protect the population against the danger of passive smoking.
